healthcare dogmas

Ever had an idea how nursing life is? Or how nursing profession functioned? Aside from taking vital signs from patients (body temperature, blood pressure, pulse/heart rate and respiration rate), well, here are some of the doctrines of nursing practice.

Application of knowledge, skills and attitude in the care of an individual, family and community focusing on the basic concepts and principles of maternal and child health nursing, patients in pain with inflammation, altered physiology in oxygenation, fluid and electrolyte imbalance and with surgical and mental disturbances utilizing the nursing care process (diagnosing, planning, implementing and evaluating) with emphasis on promotive, preventive, curative and rehabilitative aspects of care.

Whew! Kinda tough ey!
